What Is an IB Rebate?

Modified on Tue, 27 Jan at 6:31 PM

An Introducing Broker (IB) rebate is a commission earned by an IB for referring clients to a brokerage, such as DPrime

IBs typically earn either a percentage or a fixed amount, calculated based on the trading activity of the clients they introduce.

For example, when a referred client places a trade, the IB receives a portion of the commission generated from that trade.
